Enhance Your Solar Rooftop Performance: Expert Management for Maximum Efficiency and Safety

Maximizing Performance and Efficiency: As for the ground-mounted assets, an expert asset manager continuously monitors the performance of the solar rooftop systems, ensuring they operate at peak efficiency. This includes real-time data analysis to identify and address any issues promptly, which can significantly enhance the overall energy output and return on investment. However, due to the lack of sensors on site and the large volume of assets to monitor, reliable tools and streamlined processes are key to preventing any performance drift and keeping everything under control.

Risk Management: In photovoltaic rooftop systems, by nature, it’s difficult to monitor the asset due to difficulty in access. Therefore, there may be unknown severe damages pending or happening such as water infiltration or “hidden” hot spots on the panels creating a risk of fire as seen by insurers and building owners. Due to the presence of people in the immediate surroundings, those issues need then be addressed with extra care and diligence. An expert asset manager, with the right tools and practices, can analyse the data and proactively implement predictive maintenance to avoid safety issues and financial losses for the client.

Operation management:  For ground-mounted solar, any site task which is not delivered by the O&M may reasonably be undertaken by the asset manager or the asset owner. For large portfolios of rooftop, this is not feasible. Therefore, O&M scoping is much more critical to ensure a lean management of any site related matter. Over the years, thanks to our experience both in portfolio audit for M&A and asset management, Greensolver has developed a thorough understanding with regards to O&M procurement, contract scoping and negotiation, maintenance requirements and management of operation.

Regulatory Compliance: Last but not least, it is particularly important to know the regulations of each country regarding the PPA, HSE requirement and statutory controls. Greensolver has experience in many countries in Europe, such as FR, SP, PT, UK, NL, GR with local staff and global expertise.
